Blogging images with Live Writer

Live Writer lets you can include images in your weblog entries. The images are uploaded to your FTP server, the link to the image is then used in your blog post. Very neat.

If like myself you don't want to think about ftp servers, hosting, administration and all the stuff that comes with using the "Upload images to an FTP server" feature, you can think about using flickr for blogging images. Tim Heuer's awesome  Flickr4Writer  plugin lets you blog pictures from flickr.

Flickr4Writer  :  plugin for Windows Live Writer that enables a user to browse a Flickr user repository and insert an image from Flickr into a Writer post.

The other reason why flickr is an obvious choice is that flickr has image management tools. fun, fun.
